Deductive teaching strategy
it is the strategy in which principles or generalization are presented initially followed by application or testing of these principles.it is basically leading the students from unknown to known, abstract to concrete or complex to simple.
Purpose of deductive teaching strategy
A teacher centered approach where students are taken as blank slates. This strategy creates dependency in students limiting their thinking ability. This strategy is basically used to help students with learning disability to enhance their learning.
Phases of deductive strategy
1.presentation of abstraction.
2.the teacher illustrate it with examples.
3.students give examples of concepts and apply in them in new situation.
4.students restates the concept or definition that they have learned.
Advantages of deductive teaching strategy
1.less time consuming.
2.it is different from rote learning
3.it is the strategy where logical interlinking
4.most of the school materials/curriculam can be easily taught through deductive strategy.
5.This method involves all levels of question.
Disadvantages of deductive teaching strategy.
1.students are not actively involved in the beginning of the lesson.since it is the teacher centered approach,it may not be challenging for the brighter students.
Role of the teacher.
1.need to plan.
2.didcate information to students.
3.provide guidance as scaffolding.

2.Convergent phaseIn this phase we make students to identify pattern from the examples and make sentences. For example if i am going to teach about noun,i will first write example and non example of it.Then i will ask students to make sentences from that examples and non examples and ask them to find out the similarities and differences from that. And come out with the topic that i am going to teach.
3.Closure phase
By making students to look at the differences and similarities from that examples i will try to make my students define based on their understanding.
4.Application phase
In this phase,i will make my students to apply their understanding of the topic with more examples.
3.Closure phase
By making students to look at the differences and similarities from that examples i will try to make my students define based on their understanding.
4.Application phase
In this phase,i will make my students to apply their understanding of the topic with more examples.
There are four phases in inductive teaching and learning strategy.
they are:
a.open ended phase
b.convergent phase
c.closure phase and
d.application phase
a.open ended phase
In this phase we try to show examples and non examples of concept and generalization to the students and make them observe and describe the example. And give further more example and non examples.By describing and making them observed, let them find differences and similarities from that examples.

3rd and 4th reflection
In this class,we were given group task on the topic inductive teaching strategy. It is an inquiry or discovery based learning where by learners are taken from what they know to what they don't know, simple to complex, concrete to abstract.
1.Concept of inductive teaching/learning strategy.
a.provides specific information to learners and ask them to explore.
b.learning strategy is discovery learning concept.
2.purposes of inductive teaching/learning strategy
a.motivate both students and teacher
b.enhance class participation
c.team work.
e.develop independent thinking .

SECOND FEFLECTION PAPER.
IN THIS SESSION OF CLASS WE LEARNED ABOUT DIFFERENCES OF METHOD, STRATEGY, TECHNIQUE,APPROACH AND SKILL.Method or approach is the way of doing and Strategy is the plan of action.Skill and technique are synonyms which means it is the ability that enables us to do something, usually a method that involves practical skills

From your class, the very first new thing i have learned is the meditation. i have seen people doing meditation in their life but i have never tried in my life. It really made me feel good doing meditation in my life for the first time. I also got some new knowledge about life.I never took it seriously about my life. From your lecture i got to know that we shall first know what is life and be responsible.
